According to a recent article by Clark Howard, now is a fantastic time to buy a home, especially for first time home buyers and those who are renting, but would like to own. Economists are saying that affordable housing is at the best level it’s been in over 40 years!
Interest rates are at 4.5% today, and there are numerous down payment assistance programs available, no matter where you live. What does that mean for you? You have the low price of housing and money that’s available on these low priced home, to those who qualify. Taken together, that means there’s never been a more affordable time to buy.
