Chafin Communities and BB&T Home Mortgage invites prospective first-time home buyers to its free workshop and luncheon! The workshop will cover a variety of topics to help first-time buyers prepare for the process by teaching them the basics of loan programs, credit scores and more.
Held Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Willow Leaf in Buford, the first-time buyeras workshop will be presented by Joe Hartford, Vice President and Senior Mortgage Loan Originator with BB&T Home Mortgage. Topics covered during the workshop include renting versus buying, credit scores a what they mean and how to improve them, the different loan programs that are available and how to budget. The workshop will be followed by a question and answer session, giving attendees the opportunity to ask any of their remaining questions.
