Willoughby Cove, one level living at it’s best in Buford, GA. We’re located 15 minutes from the Mall of Georgia and 5 minutes from the Hamilton Shopping district. The neighborhood is located in the new Mountain View High School cluster which includes Twin Rivers Middle School and the award winning Freemans Mill Elementary School. Willoughby Cove is a quaint community of 54 lots. It’s truly a cove, literally a one street community of ranch homes. It’s hard not to know your neighbors in that kind of setting. The community has a 2 acre park, which is a great outdoor living amenity. The developer left several mature trees, as well as, several flowering shrubs were planted in this park. It also has a walking trail, and a small picnic area. You often see residents walking dogs during the day and many congregate there in the evenings to “catch up” on things.

The home owner managed HOA covers the lawn care, trimming shrubs, and weed control for each homeowner. It also covers the maintenance of the front entrance, the park and common areas of the property. That HOA concept lends itself to an active adult community, which I suppose is why I get asked if we are a 55 and older community, but we’re not. There are young families here, as well as, working empty nesters and retirees.

A recently installed weather proofed communication board announces the latest happenings in the community. A quick check of the board and I see there are gatherings planned in the community park and regular Bingo game announcements as well.
