With the Spring Market upon us, if you have been considering selling your home, now is the perfect time! So far in 2011, over 1200 homes have sold in Gwinnett County alone. This is fabulous news!
According to the National Association of REALTORS, existing home sales got back on an upward path in November, resuming a growth trend since bottoming out in July. The total housing inventory at the end of November fell 4.0 percent to 3.71 million existing homes available for sale, which represents a 9.5 month supply at the current sales pace, down from a 10.5 month supply in October. In the South, sales of existing homes rose 2.9 percent at the end of 2010, and that percentage continues to climb.
Real Estate trend experts all agree that the housing market has already bottomed out and we have begun to see an increase in home prices. This means we are most definitely on our way to recovering.
